Circus musical on the water “Odyssey” invites you to go on an exciting journey into the world of ancient Greek myths, filled with fantastic creatures and amazing events. In this unique show, Odysseus will not tell, but sing live his story of adventure and amazing encounters in search of the magical amphora that stores the power of the Cyclops. And most importantly: Odysseus wanders by sea, so the circus arena turned into one large pool. Real mermaids live in it, and the hero is helped by clever Navy SEALs. There are many such delightful moments for children in the show: fearlessly manages a baboon yacht, parrots ride on a scooter and deftly spins on gymnastic rings under the very dome of a chimpanzee. Circus musical on water "Odyssey" is a combination of circus art, operetta and water extravaganza. A pool with 150 tons of water, seething geysers 15 meters high and spectacular jets of graceful fountains make the show truly stunning and fantastic. The director of the play Victoria Konovalov, a student of Roman Viktyuk, offers the viewer a new reading of Homer’s poem of the same name, told using the expressive means of the circus, theater and operetta. The musical on the water "Odyssey" has not only entertaining, but also educational purpose - to acquaint children with ancient Greek myths, as well as an important mission - a dialogue with the audience on universal themes about the eternal confrontation between good and evil. But the highlight of the unique circus show musical “Odyssey” is still music and unusual vocals. The main character throughout the performance sings amazingly without a phonogram, live. For this role, the soloist of the operetta theater Sergey Written was specially invited. The music, written by the composer Svyatoslav Melik especially for this performance, creates a special atmosphere, "with his head" immersing the viewer in the very depths of the narrative.
