May 30 is the Day of the Republic of Buryatia. Together with the Buryat student association Elinseg, residents and guests of the city are invited to join the celebration. You can get acquainted with the variety of traditions and customs, take part in a quiz, listen to national fairy tales and much more in the Main Building of the Arsenyev Museum.

In the program:

• 12:00-13:00 - Tales with milk: Buryat fairy tales. In honor of the Day of the Republic of Buryatia, national Buryat fairy tales are read: “The Tale of the Clever Budamshu” and “Angarsk Beads”.
13:00-13:30 – Lecture “Buryaad ulasai Bayalig”, dedicated to the rich cultural heritage of Buryatia. Discover the diversity of traditions, customs and history of this unique region, emphasizing the importance of transferring knowledge and values to the younger generation.
• 13:30-14:00 - Thematic Buryat quiz.
• 14:00-14:30 - Master class on the national game "step naadan" (playing dice).
• 14:30-15:00 - National circular dance "Yokhor".
