The annual ritual holiday of the Udege people "Sagdi Dava", which in 2024 turned 17 years old, is a holiday that has the status of an object of intangible cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation, the State Russian House of Folk Art named after V.D. The main spectacular action of the holiday is the ritual of a shaman. Around a large fire, an action is carried out with the feeding of the spirit of fire, in which all the guests of the holiday take part, then the shaman and his assistants go to appease the owner of all the rivers and seas "Ganiha" and perform a rite of worship to the owner of all the fish "Sugdja azani". Through it, they turn to the hostess of the “Dawa Azani” kite to bring more fish into the river. >> Many guests from the Olga and Kavalerovsky districts, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, etc. gather for the holiday. The holiday is an original culture of the indigenous people of Primorsky Krai, based on local traditions and carries great historical and cultural value for the people trying to preserve their traditions.
