The Vladivostok Fortress Festival is back! On September 14, at the site of the Powder Cellar No. XIII (Russian Island, the village of the Crew), the premiere of the Suite of the composer Sergey Filatov “Fortress”, dedicated to the Vladivostok fortress, as one of the key symbols of the Far Eastern capital, will take place. This is a musical portrait collected from historical and modern images of the city, paintings of the sea bay and forts of the fortress, the rhythms of the port and the noise of the city. The performers this time will be the Radio Orpheus Symphony Orchestra (artistic director and chief conductor – Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Kondrashev) and the Academic Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing” of Radio Orpheus (artistic director – People’s Artist of Russia, Professor Lev Kantorovich). The artistic director and conductor is Dmitry Volosnikov. Special guest - Honored Artist of Russia Irina Apeksimova. Throughout the day (from 12:00 to 18:30) guests of the festival are waiting for excursions, master classes for children, as well as master classes on bell ringing. The food court will work.
