From February 18 to February 28, the Mariinsky Theatre will host a tour of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre named after L. Yakobson. 

>18 and 19 February, the tour will begin with the ballet program "Out of time. Choreographic masterpieces of Leonid Jacobson". The audience will see the cult cycles of miniatures “Classicism-Romanticism” and “Roden” in the choreography of the founder of the theater, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Leonid Jacobson. These cycles belong to the most original and poetic plastic compositions, staged in the XX century.

21 and 22 February will be shown a program of three one-act ballets, revealing the boundless possibilities of classical dance, - "598 bars" and "Mischievous chaps" in the production of Vyacheslav Samodurov, as well as "Brillian divertisement" the audience will see the premiere of the theater >>>, the original styleJa /pong> Inspired by the story of Alexander Pushkin and the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, this performance was embodied on the stage by Latin American choreographer-director Iñaki Urlezaga. The performance will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre under the direction of conductor Andrei Ivanov.
