September 27 will be a big celebration of sports - IX Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon. More than 5,000 people from different cities of Russia and not only Russia will take part in the most picturesque marathon of the Far East.

The marathon "Bridges of Vladivostok" will be held within the framework of the activities of the federal project "Improving the availability of tourist products" of the national project "Tourism and the hospitality industry", with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Primorsky Territory.

The marathon is held by the RunDnsRun running club, the general partner is the DNS Group of companies. The route and conduct of the Marathon is carried out with the support and coordination of the Government of the Primorsky Territory and the administration of the city of Vladivostok. The Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon is the only marathon in the Far East that is on the AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Runs) calendar.

This year the marathon will present a modified concept of the route with the start and finish in the central square: not only traditional distances will be presented: 10, 21.1, 42.2 km, but also new ones: 3, 7, 28 km. For the youngest athletes, a children's race of 1 km will be organized, as well as a distance for the Paralympic race. It will also be possible to take part in the "Corporations Cup" - a championship in which organizations compete.

Winners of all distances will share the total prize fund of more than 1,000,000 rubles.
