Speaking about the Great Patriotic War, we most often remember the fighting, the front line, military feats. We remember about the life of the rear less often, and only specialists remember about the economy of the war. The lecture will focus on the monetary system of the Soviet Union of the 1940s: food cards, money of the Red Army and occupation money, Japanese and German counterfeits.

The lecture is conducted by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of FEFU Maria Borisovna Serdyuk.
