The Tretyakov Gallery in Vladivostok opens a lecture hall for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The first lecture is devoted to 10 paintings in the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery. Art critic Olga Zotova will talk about the paintings of 1941-1945 and about the canvases painted in peacetime - as a reflection of the experience.

You will see the paintings of Yuri Pimenov, Alexander Laktionov, Konstantin Yuon and other authors whose works were replicated in textbooks and on postcards, and became a kind of symbol of the era.
