The participants will have a fascinating story about how Vladivostok was built and born. Guests will learn interesting facts about the city and its inhabitants. They will also be told about the appearance of the Golden and Russian bridges: from the idea to the final stage of construction. During the tour you will see the Sea Station – a glass building in the style of Soviet modernism, as well as the Trade Port – one of the main transport hubs of the Far East: it plays a large role in international transportation in the Asia-Pacific region. Passing the lighthouse of Tokarevsky, the ship will pass by the picturesque island of Elena, covered with dense forest, will approach the famous Russian Bridge. This cable-stayed bridge connects the mainland of Vladivostok with Russky Island and is one of the ten most interesting tourist places in Russia: the bridge is even depicted on a banknote of 2,000 rubles. You can also see the city’s second cable-stayed bridge: the Golden Bridge. The height of its pylons is 226 meters, and the total length of the structure is 1,388 meters.
