81 years ago, on January 27, 1944, one of the most tragic pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War ended: the blockade of Leningrad, which lasted 872 days and nights, took away, according to various estimates, up to half of the city's population. In spite of hunger, cold and constant bombing, people found the courage to stand up and defeat the Nazis.
