Litovka Mountain, or Falaza in Chinese, is an excellent choice for those who are just planning to join the hikes in the mountains. The climb is relatively simple and takes a convenient path. Climbing the classic route takes an average of 3 hours. The mountain is located in Shkotovsky district and has a height of 1,279 meters above sea level. Falaza is in the top ten for receiving the badge “Seaside leopard”. The beauty of the forest, the spicy smells of herbs and the singing of taiga birds give the hike a special charm. The main award for climbers is a magnificent view from the top of Mount Pidan and Nakhodka Bay. This peak in its own way is beautiful and worthy of attention at any time of the year. 

What plan?

07:00 - departure from Vladivostok from the east. Meadow, gathering at stops on the route Lugova - Center - Gogol - Zarya. Travel information, sanitary stop pt. Shkotovo. Prepare small cash in advance, sanitary rooms are paid (20p/1 times).

09:40 - arrival at the foot of the mountain, preparation for climbing, safety briefing. All things unnecessary for climbing - clean and dry clothes, snack on the return road, a second thermos, additional water, etc. - can be left on the bus.

10:00-13:00 - ascent to the top of Falazu (1,279 m), the modern geographical name - Mount Lithuania, is one of the ten peaks of the honorary sign "Primorsky Bars". The route is simple, but beginners will need endurance. At the beginning of the route, the main endurance test is waiting for the hikers - they have to climb the ridge. You will need approximately 40-60 minutes. Further, the trail will be very comfortable to gain altitude, without sharp jerks and ascents, a sharper section is waiting at the top. Be sure to bring headlights and a spare set of batteries. It is possible that part of the route you will overcome at dusk: in the decays darkens faster than in the city. 

13:00-14:30 - photography, rest at the top, snacking from your own products. Interestingly, Phalaza has 2 peaks, and both offer excellent views. In good weather, you can see the cities of Vladivostok and Big Stone, the peaks of the Primorsky Bars - Pidan (Livadiya, 1,332 m.) and Chitinza (Skalystaya, 1,239 m.), as well as the peaks of Bald Grandfather (1,120 m.), Smolnaya (1,249 m.), Black Bush (1,010 m.), Sister (318 m.) and the Chandalaz ridge.
