Golets Mountain or Tshamo-Dynza in Chinese is the pinnacle of a winter fairy tale on the Sikhote-Alin Ridge. This mountain is especially beautiful in winter, when there is a lot of snow and it lies with fluffy hats on spruce paws. The name of the mountain is due to its open bare peak, on which no trees grow. The top is covered with different sizes of stones, herbs, succulents, dwarf birches and cedar stlanik. They grow on the mountain and various bizarre species of mosses and lichens. In the forest along the trail you can find a lure, lemongrass, cedar, actinidia, dimorphant and many other relict species of plants and trees. The climbing route is sporty, but not difficult, and has an average length. The char reaches a height of 1,604 meters above sea level and is among the top ten peaks to receive the badge “Maritime Bars”. The mountain offers a magnificent view of 360 degrees around. You can see many other mountains of Sikhote-Alin ridge: Mokrusha, Range and Alder. The highest peaks of the region can be clearly seen from Goltz: Cloud, Snow and Sister.

What plan?

04:00 -departure from Vladivostok by bus from Lugovoi stop, gathering at stops along the route Lugovai - Center - Gogol - Zarya. Travel information, sanitary stops along the route. 

07:50 - transfer to a cross-country vehicle capable of delivering to the foot. Passengers sit in a warm truck kunga on soft seats, like on a bus. Kung is heated by kung ovens or convectors. 

08:00 - truck delivery to the foot of Golec Mountain. Travel time is 2-2.5 hours off-road with overcoming fords.

10:30 - climbing the mountain. The length of the route in one direction is 8 km, the total set of heights is approximately 700 meters. The climb is great for beginner tourists. The route mainly runs through the forest, but in some places you will have to walk along the slanik and make your way through the shrubs. Depending on the pace of the group, the climb takes from 1.5 to 3 hours.

13:30 - rest at the top. Mount Golets is the top of Sikhote-Alin, which is included in the list of peaks of the honorary sign "Primorsky Leopard". From the top in good weather, you can see 4 more peaks of the Primorsky Leopard: Olkhovaya (1,669 m), Snow (1,682 m), Cloud (1,854 m), Sister (1,671 m). You will also see the peaks of Mokrusha (1,442 m), Ridge (1,632 m) and Hunchback (1,152 m). Snack from your own products. 

14:30 - descent from the mountain to the car. Often in winter, in safe areas, you can roll down on hobs: this adds additional emotions and impressions from the ascent. At the foot you will prepare a delicious branded tea at the stake. Have a snack, relax and go back. 

16:30 - delivery to the bus by truck on the road. 

19:00 - departure to Vladivostok. Sanitary stops along the way. The final stop in Vladivostok Lugova. The estimated time of arrival is 22:30. 

The time in the program is indicative and may vary depending on the real situation. Each mountain climb has a control time of approach to the top, it is determined by the head of the group. If before that time you have not been able to climb to the top, then you need to start descending from the point where you are.
