Generations of research scientists study canonical art from copies made in the workshop of the famous restorer. In the exposition, viewers will see the work of such isographers as Theophanes the Greek, who painted the Church of the Transfiguration on Ilyin Street in Novgorod, Dionysius the Wise, who decorated the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the Ferapontov Monastery, will see the works of unknown artists in the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in the village of Meletovo near Pskov and in the Church of St. George in Old Ladoga.

The audience will also get acquainted with copies of the restored and reconstructed history of their salvation. This unusual exhibition, held within the framework of the national project “Culture”, includes 51 objects that will devote the viewer to the history of Russian architecture and allow you to enjoy contact with the treasures of Russian culture.
