Exhibition of the exhibition "Cats". Home and Wild from the collection of the Antique Gallery “Raritet” demonstrates the art of small plastics. One of its directions was animalistics - the artistic embodiment of images of the animal world. Domestic and foreign authors constantly turn in their works to the images of representatives of the cat family, depicting both domestic cats and wild predators. The variety of exhibits emphasizes the steady interest of man in the image of a cat in different cultures and demonstrates the richness of artistic solutions, forms and paintings in porcelain sculpture.

Cats Project. Home and Wild is accompanied by a chamber exhibition of works by Yuri Molodkovets – a photographer with a world reputation, a photographer of the State Hermitage. Four works from the Hermics series, which depict the tailed custodians of the museum, become the starting point for a journey through the world of cats.

The exhibition can be visited both independently and with a tour. Scheduled excursions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 15:00, excursions for groups of schoolchildren and students are possible at other times by agreement.
