Vladivostok joined the All-Russian action "Cinema Night" - a real holiday of national cinema, which traditionally gathers hundreds of thousands of viewers from large screens.

The main venue for the action in Vladivostok will be an open area – Square of the multimedia park “Russia is my history” (12 Aksakovskaya Street). There will be screenings of two films: 

20:00 - "The Wizard of the Emerald City." Yellow Brick Road (2024, dir. Igor Voloshin) - family fantasy. Ellie lives in a distant city. One day, the evil witch Gingham conjured a hurricane that took Ellie and her dog Totoshka to the land of the Chews. To return home, Ellie, along with new friends - Scarecrow, Iron Woodcutter and Cowardly Lion - will go down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City in search of a Wizard who will fulfill their cherished desires.

21:45 - "The Prophet." The Story of Alexander Pushkin" (2024, dir. Felix Umarov) - a musical biopic. Pushkin is young, daring and loved by the public: he is a star of any ball, fans wear him in their arms, and girls dream of his attention. But neither high patrons, nor loyal friends, nor fame can take away from him evil fate - exiles, duels, lack of money. Until one day he meets the one who will light up his life and become his destiny.

The screenings will be held in the format of an open-air street cinema
