More than 2 thousand Russians traveled to Primorye with the program “More than a journey”

In the new, fifth season, the program plans to build closer cooperation with the regions, for which it can become a tool for solving socio-economic problems: reducing the migration outflow of young people from the regions, attracting personnel in various fields. Such trips show opportunities for self-realization in their small homeland, said Olesya Teterina, General Director of ANO More than Travel.
Participants of youth projects from the program and its partners go on tours from More than a Journey: at the end of 2024, winners and prize-winners of 356 projects and competitions from 77 partner directorates of the program were awarded with travel certificates. These include schoolchildren, students, activists and volunteers, young professionals, family members of military personnel.
> For four seasons of the program “More than a journey” in useful trips around Russia together with it went more than 1.5 thousand residents of Primorsky Krai. They looked at their homeland from a new perspective, learned more about its identity and the opportunities for development and self-realization opening up in it. At the same time, more than 2 thousand people from other subjects visited the region, who got acquainted with its achievements and unique historical, cultural and natural heritage.
In the fifth season of the program “More than a journey” will continue the arrivals of its participants in Primorsky Krai. So, in the tour “Roads of Military Glory: the study of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok”, guests of the region will visit the Tokarevsky Lighthouse, the Ship Embankment, the Admiral Square and see the Golden Bridge. In the Museum-Reserve of the History of the Far East, they will learn about the history of the Far East, as well as see the powerful defensive structures of the Vladivostok fortress. Tours in Vladivostok will be organized for participants of the program with disabilities.
In 2024, the program "More than a journey" acted as the main navigator at the festival venue of the Youth Day in one of the two youth capitals of Russia in 2024 - Vladivostok. The capital of Primorye also hosted the forum “More than travel”, which brought together more than 550 participants from 52 regions at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), including active youth, representatives of the authorities and the tourism industry. In October last year in Primorsky Krai opened the first in Russia profile class "Conductors of meanings" from the program "More than travel". His students were high school students from school No. 63 of Vladivostok. As a result of mastering the curriculum, they will master the profession of an assistant guide.
In Primorsky Krai, a project office of the program “More than travel” for the development of youth tourism has been formed. His team, which includes representatives of local authorities in the field of youth policy and tourism, helps the program to fill tourist routes with the most significant attractions, locations and objects for the subjects.
