More than 30 groups of young athletes will get acquainted with Primorye during the sports games “Children of Primorye”

Young athletes of the I Winter International Sports Games "Children of Primorye" will be introduced to the tourist potential of the region, will show interesting objects, will talk about recreation opportunities in any season. In the second half of February, children from five countries – Russia, China, North Korea, Uzbekistan and Belarus – will gather in Primorye, who will take part in the international starts of the Children of Primorye sports games. Competitions will be held in Vladivostok, Artem, Arsenyev and Ussuriysk. A little more than a thousand young athletes will be measured by strength, skill, speed in eight sports. A free time between starts and training, the guys will be able to devote to acquaintance with the region. 

Excursions will be organized for both children and adults. More than 30 children's groups will be formed. Duration is about three hours. In the Chinese and Korean groups, guides with knowledge of the language will work, explained Anna Filimonova, Executive Director of the Primorsky regional branch of the PCT, General Director of the Roads of Peace company.

Of course, this is not enough to reveal the tourist opportunities of coastal cities to guests, but all participants in the competitions are very limited in time. Therefore, the program includes sightseeing tours of the city where the teams will stay and where the competitions will take place, with visits to additional facilities. In Ussuriysk, it will be an acquaintance with the exposition of the city museum, in Arsenyev - a species platform on the hill Uvalnaya and the Far Eastern Aviation Museum, in Vladivostok and Artem, a visit to the aquarium will be added. But it won't just be excursions. For some, they will be the first step on the way to get acquainted with Vladivostok and Primorye. And it is very important that the proposed material was interesting, accessible and exciting. Tour guides will try to vividly and clearly present the images of people and events associated with the history of Primorye, so that each of the children could make some discovery for themselves, and then share what they heard and saw with friends, parents, and engage them in our region. And here children will be able to become guides for planning future trips to the shores of the Golden Horn, - said the head of the Agency for Tourism of the Primorsky Territory Arseniy Krepsky.

We will remind, the first winter international sports games "Children of Primorye" will be held in Vladivostok from 18 to 23 February at the initiative of the Governor of the Territory Oleg Kozhemyako with the support of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the Government of the Primorsky Territory, the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District, the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth People's Movement "First", as well as all-Russian sports federations.
