The pavilion of Primorsky Krai for the days of work of the "Streets of the Far East" was visited by more than 10,000 people. These are representatives of Russian and foreign business, members of government delegations, residents and guests of Vladivostok. Among the six thematic areas was the tourism of the region. The proposed guidebooks, magazines, interactive stands gave an opportunity to get acquainted with places of rest, routes, excursion offers and event calendar.

The first four days the pavilion hosted participants of the WEF-2024 business program. But since all the guests were limited in time, they had appropriate questions and wishes. Russians were interested in walking around the city: what you can visit in the center, in which cafes with an authentic atmosphere to sit, what you should pay attention to while shopping. After the presentation of the Khasansky district and the future year-round sea resort, there were those who wanted to go for a short time to this corner of the region to see the natural beauty. Someone was ready to go on, but complained that he did not have time.

The foreign guests had their own view of the tourist Primorye. Representatives of China asked about investment projects in the industry, in particular, were interested in the water park on the Russian island. Along the way, they clarified: there is a football team in Vladivostok and how you can get to the match. The most pressing question for South Koreans is where you can try and buy seafood. The delegation of Malaysia was interested in national parks and reserves of the Primorsky Territory, conditions for their visit, acquaintance with the animal and plant world. Maps and guides to the Primorsky Territory were taken for special translation. Representatives of the Middle East clarified general information about Vladivostok, asked about the possibility of organizing trips to the region and the islands, while collecting a full package of printing products about the region. Along the way, foreign guests tried to link tourism with investment projects, in particular, interested in the development of fisheries and oil and gas complexes.

On weekends, residents and guests of Vladivostok got acquainted with the "Street of the Far East". According to the staff of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye), who worked in the pavilion these days, Sunday turned out to be more saturated in attendance compared to Saturday. In addition to the Far East, among the visitors to the pavilion were Muscovites and Petersburgers, residents of Rostov-on-Don and Samara, the Urals represented Surgut and Yekaterinburg, guests from Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, representatives of Kazakhstan visited. Most often asked about sightseeing tours to the islands, were actively interested in a trip to Cape Gamova and the Bruce Peninsula, clarified the possibilities of rest in Slavyanka and Andreevka.

Guests also needed recommendations for a hotel base in Vladivostok and the region, there were questions about renting apartments in Vladivostok, recreation centers, their price segment, living conditions and transport accessibility. Some visitors were interested in the possibilities of sanatorium-resort treatment in Primorye. Two questions with an eye to the future: when to build a water park on the Russian and when it will be possible to relax at a new resort in the Khasan district

The Eastern Economic Forum is always a few days of intense work, we are preparing ahead of time. A lot of printing information was in Chinese and English, QR codes were used for information support. Communication with visitors to the pavilion showed that the region is interesting for both Russians from different parts of the country and foreign guests. The geographical position of the region creates conditions for the development of both domestic and inbound tourism. Our Tourist Information Center participates in the promotion of Primorye on Russian and foreign sites, the effect is visible - the tourist flow is growing, said Olga Gurevich, Director of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).

The operator of the Primorsky Krai pavilion was the Primorye Tourist Information Center with the support of the Primorsky Krai Ministry of Tourism.
