Two tour projects won the regional stage of the international award

Two projects of the Tourist and Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) became prize-winners of the regional stage of the International Prize #MIVESTE and took second place among all winners. The second place in the nomination “Helping People” was taken by the inclusive tourism map. On the same step of the pedestal, but in the nomination “Territory for Life”, the tourist-volunteer project “Striped Navigator” settled. In total, this year, three projects were submitted from the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) for participation in the award, including the experience of the organization “School of a Young Guide” among the initiatives of the regions. The victory in the regional stage will be an opportunity for each project to receive support from the authorities and also find partners for the further implementation of projects. Including for all winners will organize a meeting with the leadership of the region. All finalists will also be able to receive the support of the clubs of the participants of the Prize in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. All projects are currently being evaluated by independent experts. Three experts who do not know the project and do not live in the main region of its implementation will check all initiatives to determine future finalists. If the application is approved, it passes to the final stage.

In total, 20 projects became winners and prize-winners in the Primorsky Territory. This year, all regions of Russia took part in the competition, a record number of applications were submitted – 45.5 thousand applications. Since the competition is international, other countries were able to take part in it – 3.7 thousand applications from 142 countries of the world came to the competition.

About the #WEBLE Prize: the award within the framework of the International #WEBLE Award was established on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. An important objective of the award is the comprehensive support of significant initiatives and projects aimed at helping people and improving the quality of life in Russia and in the world. This year is the fourth season of the award. The best projects will be awarded within the framework of the International Civil Participation Forum #WORK TOGETHER on Volunteer Day in Russia. The organizer of the International Prize #MIVESTE is the Association Dobro.rf, the founder is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). Traditionally, the award ceremony is attended by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
