At the beginning of September 2024 in the Museum-Reserve of the History of the Far East named after V.K. Arsenyev will open the exhibition "Epoch of Faberge". The Golden Age of Russian Jewellery Art, which will feature more than three hundred precious works from the collection of the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin.

The project will acquaint the residents of the Far East with the work of the great Russian jeweler Carl Faberge - the supplier of the highest court, and his contemporaries, the famous Russian gold and silver craftsmen and stone cutters of the era of historicism and modernity. Visitors will be able to see exclusive works created by order of the most august persons, as well as products for a wider range of admirers of jewelry art - jewelry, accessories, household items and dining utensils.

Easter eggs, commissioned by the last Romanov, Emperor Nicholas II, are the pinnacle of Faberge's creativity. According to Elena Gagarina, General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, people from different parts of the world are eager to see the world’s largest collection of imperial Easter gifts with intricate surprises, and now residents of the Far East will have such an opportunity. They are precious monuments of national history, symbols of unsurpassed skill and inexhaustible imagination of Russian artists, jewelers, stone cutters and enamels, notes Elena Gagarina, stressing that the upcoming exhibition promises to become a bright event in the cultural life of the region.

This year, three of the ten Easter masterpieces stored in the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin will be delivered to Vladivostok - "300th anniversary of the House of Romanov", Eggs and "The Moscow Courtyard". Both are connected with the glorious past of the Primorsky Territory and the city of Vladivostok – the arrival of Tsarevich Nikolai Alexandrovich on board the cruiser Memory of Azov and the completion of the construction of the Siberian Railway. The Faberge Epoch.

The Golden Age of Russian Jewelry is the sixth joint project of two federal museum institutions. According to the director of the Museum-Reserve of the History of the Far East named after V.K. Arsenyev Viktor Shalay, long-term and fruitful cooperation with the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin is of great importance: it makes face-to-face acquaintance with world masterpieces available to the Far East. Not all our compatriots can regularly visit Russian cultural capitals, especially to visit key national museums and get acquainted with their funds. And the opportunity to get acquainted directly in your city, region, region with masterpieces of jewelry art from the collection of one of the leading museums of the country is expensive. I am eternally grateful to our key partners - the State Corporation Rosatom and the FESCO Transportation Group - for their caring participation and substantial support, without which this exhibition simply could not take place, he emphasizes.

Special partners of the exhibition - JSC Sputnik and FGC Region. Information partner - VKontakte.
