Immersive exhibition "Fyodor Konyukhov: Lifelong Journey Takes Place in Vladivostok

Since August 19, a unique immersive Exhibition of paintings and artifacts (0+) of the legendary Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov. The exhibition presents paintings of the personal collection of the Konyukhov family and items from the travels of Fyodor Filippovich. The exhibition is held with the support of the Vladivostok administration and will last until October 25, 2024.

The traveler, artist, writer, clergyman - the art project reveals the identity of Fedor Konyukhov from different angles. The emphasis in the exposition “Journey in a lifetime” is made on paintings painted on the tracks of expeditions. Also at the exhibition there are equipment for traveling at the North Pole, as well as personal belongings of the author.

On the account of the traveler 25 world records, some of which are listed in the Guinness Book of Records. He was the first in the world to reach all five poles of the planet. He also became the first Russian to conquer all seven peaks of the Earth. In addition, Fyodor Konyukhov was the first in Russia to reach the North and South Poles by skiing, made a solo circumnavigation and a round-the-world balloon flight.

From September 18 to 29, the traveler goes on an expedition along the historical routes of V.K. Arsenyev in the period from 1900 to 1906. from Nakhodka to pos. Cavalerovo. On the route, the installation of scientific equipment for environmental monitoring is planned - a seismic and meteorological station, as well as geological exploration and sampling. 

The combination of exhibits at the immersive exhibition creates an immersive effect - guests can follow the trail of the explorer and plunge into the atmosphere of travel: the conquest of the seven peaks of the world, including climbing Everest, transatlantic circumnavigation and crossing the Pacific Ocean in both directions, an autonomous expedition to the North Pole, a round-the-world trip to Australia, and many others in an emotional way.
