During the forum, representatives of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) together with like-minded people worked to popularize and disclose the inclusive tourist potential of the region within the framework of the hackathon “More than a route”. Note that in the original version, the map was developed for Vladivostok, but later it became clear - it is necessary to take into account the capabilities and infrastructure of other cities in the region, popular objects of visit located outside the Far Eastern capital. Ideas of youth routes were formed in several directions at once: history and patriotism, culture and art, sports and active recreation, ecology and sustainable development, industry and technology, business and entrepreneurship, science and innovation. One of them is affordable tourism. But when it was formed, it was necessary to use the standards of the program of civil-patriotic and socially useful youth tourism within the framework of the project “More than a journey”.
Work with various types of nosologies went in two directions: the creation of methodological recommendations and adaptation of infrastructure, employees of the tourism industry and tourists themselves and the development of the route. As a result, together with colleagues tour operators and students of specialized areas, the idea of finalizing and improving the inclusive route through the city center of Vladivostok was developed.
According to the results of brainstorming, which involved more than 120 people, more than ten original ideas were invented. The results of the hackathon will be used as part of the creation of new tours in 2025. Moreover, all ideas can be used in the future to reveal the cultural heritage and tourist opportunities of the regions of Russia. Discussion of accessibility of tourism continued within the framework of the thematic round table “Ensuring an accessible environment as a factor in the development of domestic tourism”. Universal card on "affordable" Vladivostok, as one of the successful practices of inclusive tourism, was presented at the discussion platform. The peculiarity of the map is that it can be successfully used by both inclusive tourists and travelers without nosologies. On the one hand, it depicts the central part of the city with navigation and signs, and on the other hand, it shows the adaptability and accessibility of display objects on this map. Experts highly appreciated the fullness of the map and its versatility of use in the work. The agenda also included plans for affordable tourism for the future. It was about amending the bill in a number of regulatory documents.
The work on the map is done at a high level. As a result, everything turned out to be informative, accessible and convenient for tourists, said Asya Akhriyeva, moderator of the meeting, the only limited-mobility guide of the international exhibition-forum “Russia” and a leading specialist in the development of tourist products of the “More than travel” team. “Colleagues have made a full and fruitful effort to create such a map. This allows individual tourists to travel around the edge. And not every region has such experience, added Svetlana Nigmatullina, head of the ANO Center for the Development of Social and Educational Projects "AURA".
Communication with experts in the inclusion industry has become a new impetus for us to finalize the map. In working on this project, we try not only to be guided by flexibility and versatility, but also to ensure that the use of printing is simple and intuitive for tourists. Feedback from colleagues who participated in the forum will help to improve the map, make it more informative, pay even more attention to the peculiarities of the travel of inclusive tourists in the Primorsky Territory, said Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye). Reference: "More than a journey" is a program that has already helped more than 200,000 young people to discover the tourist potential of places to visit and see the unique places of our country.
