Published atlas with the unique heritage of Arsenyev

The legacy of Vladimir Klavdievich Arsenyev, whose name our museum bears, continues to open with new faces.

The Atlas of Cartographic Works of V.K. Arsenyev came out of print. This is an absolutely unique publication, the preparation of which became possible due to the fruitful cooperation of a number of institutions: the Arsenyev Museum, the Society for the Study of the Amur Territory (Primorsky Branch of the Russian Geographical Society) and two academic institutes - the Pacific Institute of Geography of the FEB RAS and the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East of the FEB RAS. “Atlas” fully reflects the breadth of scientific interests of the tireless researcher of the Ussuri region. The maps he compiled are presented in the publication by sections: maps of the expedition routes of Arsenyev, maps on the physical geography and climatology of the region, the main routes of communication, areas of settlement of local peoples, maps of agricultural zoning and, finally, maps of archaeological research carried out by Vladimir Klavdievich. Atlas circulation is extremely limited. But if you urgently need to buy it - it is already sold in the museum souvenir shop at the same address.
