The Trepang Museum gave the citizens and guests of Vladivostok a real holiday: everyone was invited here to celebrate the wide Shrovet.
The entrance to the holiday was free. The organizers prepared a very interesting and rich program: the museum guides conducted educational excursions and quests for children and adults for free. Trepang — habitual to us, the Far East, echinodermic organism — is still not solved to the end. In Asia, it is considered the elixir of immortality, and for us it is a visiting card of Vladivostok, because it lives in the purest waters of our Sea of Japan for 500 million years. It is updated every year and people continue to learn about its unique qualities. This knowledge is followed by a museum. There is always something to tell and show. But March 16 was not just an excursion. The Trepang Museum celebrated Maslenitsa. Which means it was fun, bright and delicious. All guests from the doorstep were given pancakes with honey, and honey with ginseng and chaga is an annual tradition at the Trepang Museum. About 250 people came to share the holiday of Maslenitsa, among them there are foreign tourists - guests from China. In the Middle Kingdom, a special attitude towards this inhabitant of our sea. Neighbors love everything related to sea cucumber.
And where to go without songs and dances on an olive day. The festive mood of Primorye residents was set by the seaside singer Lyalya Alexakova and her team. The win-win lottery ended an olive oil day - almost everyone got a nice gift. Even the youngest have earned their mothers various certificates. And also a surprise – a real fashion show from the seaside designer of clothing Catherine Molchan. The models present modern clothing, but in the style of Slavic ethnics. In another hall there is a fair - everything is like in the good old days. All products are made by the hands of seaside needlewomen and craftsmen. The final of Maslenitsa is always one - burning stuffed Maslenitsa. Under the exclamations of “winter go away”, the straw figure disappeared along with the winter frosts, to return again next year.
