Camera, motor, travel!

Almost 40 people decided to master the basics of shooting during hiking and learn the experience of proven travelers. The dialogue on how to shoot exciting shots, so that there is not only memory for the authors, but also the opportunity to share with others, unfolded at the site of TTF-2025. 

The master class, which was attended by travelers, photographers and videographers of Primorsky Krai, was timed to season 3 of the All-Russian competition for the best travel in the Far East and the Arctic "Far East - Land of Adventure". New trips are new discoveries, an opportunity to learn the secrets and secrets of Primorye, to feel the atmosphere of the region: from sea fog to the smell of the taiga, from the national color of small nationalities to the richness of nature. All this can be a great opportunity not only to shoot a video from a trip, but also to share footage with the whole of Russia.

Participant of season 2 of the contest Kristina Perestoronina shared her impressions of participation in the competition. In her film, she told about the conquest of ten peaks of Primorye and obtaining the status of “Seaside Leopard”. And in the frames she tried to reflect the beauty of the Primorsky Territory, and the individuality of each peak, and the emotions that overwhelmed it

A film about family, love, strength and travel in the Sea of Japan in the 2nd season of the competition took 1st place in the nomination "Best water trip in the Far East". Its authors were Victor and Alyona Kitsan, as well as their little assistant Haggy.

We are glad that we participated in the competition, are happy to share our impressions and plans. The forum was very productive for us. On the site, we met with other participants of the competition, with guys who are engaged in video production, with the same travel lovers who are ready to go on the road. I want such events to be held more often, shared emotions from the forum Victor Kitsan.

Another mentor of future travelers and participants of the competition is a photographer and traveler in the Primorsky Territory Vitaly Berkov. He shared his experience and knowledge so that the shooting turned out to be truly impressive: how to make a good and interesting shot, how to create a masterpiece using the phone. Did you know that using a smartphone, and with minimal resources, you can shoot expressive structured videos? About this and other secrets of video shooting told Egor Vedrov, the production operator of "Megapolis video". Speakers of the master class told about the specifics of creative shooting in the Far East, shared the secrets of landscape and adventure photography, focusing on the importance of lighting, frame composition and image processing. Special attention was paid to the creation of emotional content that can convey the atmosphere of travel and inspire travel to the most beautiful places of the Russian Far East and the Arctic. The name of the competition has become a brand that can be used to promote the region in all spheres of life. The competition brought together the regions of the Far East, there is a need for interregional projects that can be replicated. The number of applications is growing, the regions are trying, tourists are great. Every job deserves respect. The second season received 664 applications – three times more than in the first season. The films of the finalists and winners are broadcast on regional TV channels, and screenings are planned at the federal level, translation into Chinese for screening in August at the WEF retreat in Guangzhou. The films will form the basis of an interactive map of the routes of the Far East regions. I am glad that the regions are taking the initiative: they offer solutions on how to promote the competition, introduce separate nominations and special prizes. And this season promises to be even more “hot”: the Arctic has been added to the Far Eastern regions, Nikolay Nagorny, head of the Far East – Land of Adventures contest project, shared his thoughts

To popularize the competition in Primorye, the participants of the dialogue proposed to consider the option of promoting specific routes with filming and organizing a regional competition on them, taking into account the capabilities and experience of professionals and ordinary amateur tourists, owners of cameras and smartphones, etc. The Far East – Land of Adventure contest has been held since 2022. Its initiator was the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, who notes that thanks to the films of the participants, many people will want to see firsthand the beauty of nature and visit the beautiful territories of the Far East and the Arctic. In the 3rd season of the competition, 4 nominations are presented: walking, water, winter and Arctic travel. The main prize is 3 million rubles.

And the work has already begun. On May 1, 2025, the acceptance of applications for participation in the III All-Russian competition for the best travel “Far East – Land of Adventure” began.
