CyberFest, yacht regatta and scallop festival: how the Day of Youth will be held in Vladivostok

The key theme of all events of the Youth Day is the association. We unite Russia, the residents of our city, every community and, of course, every representative of youth who lives in our city, said the head of Vladivostok Konstantin Shestakov.

Kovbas Roman, program director of the Youth Day and Week in the Youth Capital, noted that within the framework of the celebration, everyone will find something useful for themselves:

Esports fans will also find something to their liking: the city will host a series of significant events dedicated to cyber games within CyberFest. One of the key events will be the Russian Esports Championship, it will be held on June 28 on the Embankment of Tsesarevich.

Esports not only unites esports, we are also trying to inculcate a broader agenda related to IT and sports in general. Our platform will work in order to form interest in work, employment, and not just to tell about employment, but to give an opportunity to try, feel and touch work. The platform will be decorated as an exhibition of student detachments: there will be our uniform, everything related to our history, our banners, etc., said Denis Grigoriev, commander of the Primorsky regional branch of Russian student detachments (RSO). Participants of the event will have the opportunity to participate in a survey from the immersive project “Voice Inside”, “Rosmolodezhye” and the program “More than Travel” about how and where the youth of Vladivostok rests, as well as what places they visit. Based on the answers, a special immersive youth route will be developed, which will be presented within the framework of the WEF. Within the framework of the Youth Day, the scallop street festival “On the Crest” (0+) will be held for the third time.
