During the New Year celebration, more than 3,700 Chinese citizens entered Primorye, which is 191 groups. About 390 people from this number flew to Vladivostok. Almost 20 flights are operated weekly between Vladivostok and Chinese cities. The rest of the tourists from the PRC were almost evenly "distributed" between the checkpoints of Kraskino and Border. During the same period, about 3,500 people went to China through seaside checkpoints. For the first time after the end of the pandemic, when tourist exchanges between our countries became possible, the Chinese tourist flow exceeded the outbound Russian one, explained Yulia Korsak, Deputy Head of the Department of the Primorsky Territory Tourism Agency.
Guests from China were received by 10 tour companies-operators included in the list of tourist organizations engaged in the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the PRC on visa-free group tourist trips. According to representatives of the seaside tourism business, the groups included many young tourists, parents with children. The Chinese want to make the most of the weekend, which is not much during the year. In Vladivostok, each of the host companies offered their tourists different programs: sightseeing tours around the city, visiting museums, an aquarium, hockey matches or participating in sports battles with their peers. The average length of stay of Chinese tourists in Vladivostok is 3-4 days. The material was prepared by the Primorsky Territory Tourism Agency.
