Chinese air carriers and tour operators presented opportunities to get acquainted with Primorye

Tourist and information center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) at a meeting of seaside and Chinese companies of the tourism industry presented the tourist potential. The Russian region was represented by almost 15 companies of the region. Chinese participants are bloggers, representatives of tour operators Spring Tour and Yaao Aviation Service, as well as air carriers Hainan Airlines, Spring Airlines, China Southern.

Today, flights are operated from Vladivostok to China in five directions: Dalian, Beijing, Yanji, Shanghai and Harbin. Both Russian and Chinese air carriers fly.

The Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) in its presentation outlined the “red line”: it is important not just to fly, but most importantly – there is something to do in the region. And the tour can be longer than the usual 3-5 days that Chinese tourists determine for themselves. The same policy is pursued by the management of JSC “MAV”. In the near future, another Chinese airline will be on the route between Primorye and China. 

Head of the Department of Project Management and Analytics of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) Vitaly Stanislavchuk announced the statistics of visiting the region and plans for 2024 and emphasized the profitability of the industry. He also introduced the guests to the natural objects of the region, the programs of acquaintance with Vladivostok and the possibilities of summer holidays at sea. Proposals for domestic flights in Primorye were presented, which makes it possible to see the entire region. Separately, the event events of the region were announced, including gastronomic ones. 

After the presentation moments, the dialogue has already gone in B2B format. On May 25, guests from the PRC visited the O! Mega Taste, where they were able to plunge into the atmosphere of the holiday, try and appreciate different dishes from pollock from chefs of restaurants in Vladivostok and Buryatia. In 2023, Primorye was visited by 129.5 thousand tourists from China on visas and under an intergovernmental agreement. According to the results of the first quarter of 2024, the flow of tourists from the PRC to Primorye approached the level of 2019, exceeding 49 thousand people.

The region enters the pre-pandemic level The region builds its work in such a way as to attract Chinese tourists from different provinces of the PRC, as well as taking into account interests, age and different target audiences.
