The team of the Tourist and Information Center of Primorye reached the final of the competition of tourist brands

The best creative and tourist brands of Russia took part in the final of the contest “Cultural treasures through the eyes of the young”, which is held with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. Primorsky Krai is represented by three objects at once, two of which were stated by the team of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye).

The leaders of the competition, who received the right to participate in the full-time stage of the competition to fight for the main prizes, became visit-primorye.ru/where-to-go/v-gosti-k-zhivotnym-/safari-park/>Seaside Safari Park Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) entered the final in the nominations “Nature” and “Settlement” with the point of attraction of tourists, including foreign ones, the Steklyanny beach and the archaeological site – Steklyahuhinsky settlement. The preparation of materials on the formation of brands was carried out by employees of the tourist and information department Natalia Bogdashevskaya and Victoria Dmitrieva. 

When assessing cultural brands, experts focused on their authenticity and uniqueness, the ability to be a point of attraction for travelers and make impressions. When making an application, it was very important to show the identity of local display objects. This makes it possible to use objects that became winners in the competition in the future in projects aimed at the development and popularization of travel in Russia. 

For us, participation in industry competitions aimed at promoting tourism, increasing the attractiveness of the region, developing and promoting certain programs, positioning regional facilities and event events is always an opportunity to tell about the variety of recreation and ideas for traveling in our Primorsky Territory. Applications for participation in this competition were prepared in the spring. We are pleased that the experts highly appreciated the importance of our travel brands and both applications were finalists. Through the formation of the value of the development and popularization of the cultural heritage of the region, we will be able to once again remind about the importance of its preservation and careful attitude to our regional brands, – said about the entrance to the final, Deputy tourist and information department of the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) Anastasia Povetkina.

The objects of the Russian regions in the following nominations: art clusters, creative clusters (11 exhibit objects), gastronomy (18 shows of objects), displays (208 objects), exhibitions of objects) and events (15) All participants of the competition were divided into two categories: from 14 to 17 years - the category "Youth" and 18-30 years - the category "Youth". The competition is held by the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on Territorial Development, Urban Environment and Infrastructure with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The main goal of the competition is to increase the level of interest and motivation of young people to study the multifaceted tourism potential of our country.
