The flag of Russian sea fortresses is raised at Pospelov Fort to commemorate the new season. This is a signal that the fortress is ready to receive guests and invites everyone who is fond of history and hiking to the facilities available for visiting.
The guests of the beautiful ceremony were cadets of the Pacific Higher Naval School, participants in a special military operation and their families.

In the current ceremony, together with the cadet of TOVMU Evgeny Litvinov, the flag of the fortress was raised by a 13-year-old schoolgirl from Vladivostok Elizaveta Mashekhina. Her father Alexei is now in the zone of the SVO, left as a volunteer after the death in March 2022 of the eldest son of Konstantin Mashekhin, a sailor guard of the 155th separate guards marine brigade of the Red Banner Pacific Fleet. In conclusion, the director of the Museum Arsenyev once again addressed the participants of the ceremony.
You should know that in the most difficult moments of waiting for loved ones, the test of loss - you are not alone. The museum offers you its participation. We are always glad to see you in all our branches. Today we raise the flag in honor of the people who have dedicated their lives to the service of the Fatherland in the past, and now defend the future of Russia. In honor of your loved ones and in your honor, too, said Viktor Shalay and invited everyone to a tour of the Fort Pospelov.

Pospelov Fort is one of the most beautiful, and, without exaggeration, the most popular object of the Vladivostok fortress among citizens and tourists. It is comfortable to visit (located near the entrance to Russky Island) and therefore often becomes a platform for a variety of events.
It should be noted that over the past few years, interest in the Vladivostok fortress has grown significantly: from 3,319,000 visitors in 2021 to 86,600 in 2024. By the way, last year, a third of visitors chose Pospelov Fort from the six facilities available for excursions.
