The year-round resort in Primorye will be interesting for all Russians – Russian President Vladimir Putin
The project of the year-round sea resort in Primorsky Krai was presented to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the development of the project of federal year-round resorts "Five Seas and Lake Baikal".
Primorye today is a strong point of attraction of tourism. Over the past year, the tourist flow increased and amounted to 3.5 million trips. Given the huge potential of the region in this industry, it is necessary to create a modern infrastructure. And in this matter, the construction of a year-round sea resort in the Khasansky district will help, said the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako, presenting the place of future rest for Russians. The head of the region outlined the main points that will increase the popularity of not only the resort, but also the region as a whole: the richness of flora and fauna, the possibility of visiting protected areas, the proximity of China and North Korea and acquaintance with the point of three borders, the history of battles on Lake Hasan. In the direction of the future resort there is a road, a railway. With Oleg Belozerov (note: General Director of Russian Railways) discussed the launch of a tourist train. The sea route towards the resort is 40 miles, in the future this is of great importance, explained the possibilities of transport infrastructure Olga Kozhemyako.
During the presentation, the infrastructure facilities of the resort zone, stages of construction and ways of financing were announced. The total area of the year-round sea resort will be about 150 hectares, the beach area - 1.5 kilometers, it is planned to build seven hotels of different stars with a room fund of 3,800 rooms. The average occupancy of hotels will be about 60%, in high season will reach 100%. 2,500 new jobs will be created. About 500 thousand potential customers will visit the resort during the year.
Together with the investor - the company "Resorts of Primorye" - developed a schedule of the resort for 2024-2031 with a total private investment of about 30 billion rubles. Currently, the project is given the status of a large-scale. A master plan for the future resort, urban planning documentation and a financial model are being developed. The resort will host the first guests in the summer of 2028, added Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.
The full presentation of the resort is planned to be presented on the sidelines of the EEF, which will be held in Vladivostok from 3 to 6 September 2024. Supporting the initiative of the region to create a year-round seaside resort, the Russian leader expressed confidence that not only the Far East and Siberians, but also the whole of Russia will rest there. Special energy near the ocean, special power, and this is very attractive, makes a special impression. Nature is absolutely unique, there is nothing like it anywhere, the Far East is a special place on the planet, beautiful, interesting and colossal potential. This is fascinating, interesting, said the head of state.
Summing up the meeting, the President instructed the Government to work out legal relations with business in such a way that the implementation of large-scale projects was beneficial to all parties. " An application for technical specifications for energy supply has already been submitted. Land transfer is in progress. The resort will increase not only the attractiveness of the region, but also raise the level of service to a new level, create completely new opportunities for recreation. Moreover, this resort will not only become a place of rest, entertainment and recreation in the usual sense of this sense, it will also become a place of residence. All conditions will be created here for those who can stay at the resort for a long time, who are ready to work remotely, but want to relax from the hustle and bustle.
