Lectures on local history will be held in Vladivostok

Residents and guests of Vladivostok are invited to informative and thematic lectures. The events will be held in the framework of popularization of the historical and cultural potential of the Primorsky Territory as a tourist destination.

List of local history lectures in February: 

1. Sirenko Nadezhda Alexandrovna, February 9, beginning at 17:00. Presentation "First Russian Aviators and Vladivostok". Listeners will learn about people who lived in Vladivostok at different times, who left a deep mark in the history of aviation not only in Russia, but also in the whole of mankind. We have something to be proud of! Venue: OIAC Library, Peter the Great, 4. 

2. Ivashko Alexander Boleslavovich, February 17, beginning at 15:00. Venue: OIAC Library, Peter the Great St., 4. Subject: "Military justice during the Civil War and intervention in the Far East in 1917-1922". Abstract: White and red. Similarities and differences. We remind you that visiting lecture halls in the UIAC Library is free, the approximate duration of each event is 1.5 hours. The lectures are organized by the Primorsky regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society - the Society for the Study of the Amur Region (RGS - OAIC) with the support of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).
