Leopards and tigers settled in the Primorsky Oceanarium at a photo exhibition
Exhibition "The World of the Lands of the Leopard" - a project designed to draw attention to the diversity of unique flora and fauna of the south of Primorsky Krai. The exposition was opened on June 10 as part of the cooperation agreement between Land of the Leopard and the Primorsky Oceanarium. Previously, photo exhibitions were unfolded here only about the marine inhabitants of the protected areas "Land of the Leopard". Visitors to the aquarium can now see near the majestic Amur tigers, graceful Far Eastern leopards and Red Book birds living in one of the most unique reserves of Russia. The photos presented at the exhibition mentally immerse in the mysterious and exciting wild world of life of inhabitants in specially protected natural areas "Land of the Leopard". Visitors will be able to see images of rare species of birds, marine mammals and large cats of the planet, including a rare Far Eastern leopard. Each photo is accompanied by a caption that tells about what is depicted in the picture.
The exhibition will work at the Primorsky Oceanarium on the site in front of the dolphinarium until mid-summer. The organizers hope that the exposition will draw the attention of the general public to the issues of preserving the unique nature of the Far East and increase the ecological culture of citizens.
Photo exhibition "The World of the Land of the Leopard" was prepared by the Directorate of the Land of the Leopard Reserves with the support of the V.K. Arsenyev International Airport in Vladivostok.
The National Park "Land of the Leopard" is located in the southwest of the Primorsky Territory. It preserves the world’s only wild population of the Far Eastern leopard, one of the rarest cats in the world. Naturally, its habitat is also under protection, which also needs care. Flora of the territory includes about 800 species of plants, among which dozens of red book.
