The route "Semiverstka" on the "Land of the Leopard" is open to visitors

A visit to the ecological route called "Semiverstka" of the National Park "Land of the Leopard" is open after the abolition of the fire regime. Everyone can visit the wild corner of south-western Primorye, known for its picturesque views.

The popular route "Semiverstka" was forced to close in February 2024 due to the threat of natural fires - for the safety of citizens and nature. On May 17, the fire-fighting regime in the south of Primorye – in the Khasan district – was canceled, and from May 20, special conditions of the fire-hazard period on the “Land of the Leopard” were additionally canceled. The past fire-hazardous period showed one of the best results of fire-fighting work in the protected areas of the Land of the Leopard. Thanks to hard work and advance preparation at the borders of specially protected natural areas, 12 large natural fires were extinguished.

For visitors who want to get acquainted with the unique nature, a number of ecological routes operate on the "Land of the Leopard". The longest and sporty of them - "Semiverstka" - is located in the Khasan district, 20 kilometers south of the village of Barabash. The path passes along the slopes of high hills and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic hills, the Amur Bay and, in good weather, the famous bridges of Vladivostok. The route visitor can choose the length of the ring path in 5, 7 or 10 kilometers.
