Youth tour held in Vladivostok for the participants of the First Movement

On Sunday, July 21, the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) together with the Primorsky Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society - the Society for the Study of the Amur Region presented a presentation of the tourist potential of Vladivostok and took part in the organization of an excursion for the youth delegation of the all-Russian public-state program "Movement of the First".

More than 50 children from different regions of Russia arrived in Vladivostok to get acquainted with the sights of the Far Eastern capital. Having met the group on the central square of the city, the staff of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) told the guests about the interesting objects of Vladivostok and Russky Island, suggested the possibilities of navigation and recreation directions. And detailed tourist maps were only to help. The tour for the youth delegation was conducted by the current member of the section of local studies and excursion studies of the Primorsky branch of the Russian Geographical Society - JIAC Elena Gryaznova. 

We are conducting fruitful cooperation with colleagues from the "First Movement". This time we became co-organizers of the route for guests of our city. Here we set ourselves the task of helping young people navigate the city so that they could independently and further get acquainted with its history and culture. We are always glad to maintain interest in the Primorsky Territory and present the potential of its tourist opportunities, said Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory. 

Such excursions and meetings with representatives of the tourism industry give the opportunity for young people to get acquainted not only with participants from other regions of Russia, but also to visit key display objects and points of attraction of tourists in Vladivostok.

We were pleased to take part in the Vladivostok tour in one of the two Youth Capitals of Russia this year. During the walk we learned many new and interesting facts about the city. Thanks to the tourist map, we were able to track our excursion route and plan what we would like to visit and see in the near future, - the participants of the excursion shared their impressions of the walk.
