MTS: tourists from Khabarovsk, Yakutia and China chose Millionka and Vladivostok fortress

PJSC MTS (MOEX: MTSS), a digital ecosystem, with the help of impersonal big data (Big Data) compiled a digital portrait of tourists who visited the Primorsky Territory in 2023.
The top 3 regions from which guests come included the Khabarovsk Territory, the Amur Region and Yakutia, and China, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are the leaders among foreign countries. According to Big Data MTS, 95% of tourists arrived in Primorye from the regions of Russia, and 5% from foreign countries. Every fourth tourist was from the neighboring Khabarovsk Territory, in second place guests from the Amur region (12.5%), and closed the three leaders of Yakutia (10%). In the ranking of foreign countries, from where tourists go to Primorsky Krai, China, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are leading. The vast majority (90%) of guests came to Primorye by car, every twelfth arrived by plane, and the train was chosen by slightly more than 1% of tourists. Most of the guests (67.4%) come for a short time - 1-2 days. 13.04% of tourists are detained for 3-7 days, and only one in ten remains for up to 15 days. Every fifth tourist in Primorye aged 35 to 44 years, and the vast majority of them are men – the share of the strong half of humanity accounted for more than 55% of all guests. Also, the region is quite popular among travelers with children - more than 13% of those who visited Primorye were under the age of 17.
The most popular cities for tourists in Primorye are Vladivostok, Artem, Nakhodka, Ussuriysk and Bolshoi Kamen. In the Far Eastern capital, the main places of attraction of tourists were the “Labyrinths of Millionka”, Sports Embankment, Russky Island, the forts of the Vladivostok fortress, the Ship Embankment and the shopping center “Kalina Mall”. The second most popular Khasansky district with its picturesque beaches and coves, a scallop farm and a rich excursion program. Lazovsky district, which is gaining popularity, closed the top three: Valentin and Petrov bays attract tourists with their postcard views and pristine nature.
