Families of SVO participants are invited to the Arsenyev Museum. From July 25 to 31, all branches of the museum organize a variety of free educational programs and excursions for participants in a special military operation and their families.

The start of the charitable project was announced by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in pursuance of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation. Its main meaning is the involvement of participants of the SVO and their families in cultural and educational programs within the framework of adaptation to peaceful life.

The weekly program from the Arsenyev Museum is compiled in such a way that it can be interesting and informative for the audience of any age. The main building offers daily excursions to the permanent exhibition, which introduces the history of the development of the Far East, and also invites guests to the interactive exhibition Dreams of Siberia. Young visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the “Siberian” themes at the master class “Mysterious Siberia” and at the educational program “Talking finds of Siberia”.

Sightseeing tours of the museum halls will be held these days in the Museum of the City (Peter the Great St., 6), in the House of the Sukhanov Family (Sukhanov St., 9) and in the House of the Traveler Arsenyev. For children, all branches of the museum have prepared a number of educational programs and master classes that somehow relate to the history of Vladivostok and its famous inhabitants, the unique nature of Primorye. You can go on a tour of one of the most closed to visit Fort No. 1 (the Shitova district, the village of Gornostay), known for its completely unique structure - the Gorge half-caponir. From Fort No7 (Lesnaya Street, 45), not only the most beautiful views of Vladivostok open. A distinctive feature of the object is a vast tunnel barracks located in the central part of the fort, arranged deep underground.

For family holidays, an inter-museum route "In the footsteps" was provided. It will pass along the Coastal Battery NoXIII (Russian Island, Primorsky Oceanarium).

Traditionally, there are many offers for walking around the historical places of Vladivostok. You can look into the labyrinths of the Chinese Millionka, get acquainted with the Japanese quarter and Vladivostok German, walk along Svetlanskaya, Aleutskaya, look at Vladivostok through the eyes of Eleanor Prey, as well as hear amazing stories, entertaining facts from the life of the city and citizens of the late XIX - early XX centuries from enthusiastic guides of the Arsenyev Museum.
