In Primorye, high-speed Internet and voice communication have been launched to the highest peak of the southern Sikhote-Alin range - Mount Oblachnaya in the Chuguevsky District of Primorsky Krai. Mobile Internet at speeds up to 50 Mbit / s now operates at an altitude of 1,854 meters above sea level.

Mobile network MTS "cut" the territory of the summit of Mount Cloud, where in October the peak of the tourist season is recorded. Since the mountain is located on the territory of the National Park “Call of the Tiger” and far from settlements, it is difficult to build telecom infrastructure facilities, so there was no mobile communication at the top. To ensure access to digital services, MTS engineers have implemented an alternative technical solution. After the work, tourists and climbing athletes can comfortably use navigation services, communicate with loved ones and share photos and videos online right from the top

Mount Cloud in Primorsky Krai

Cloud is the second highest peak of Primorye and the highest point of the southern Sikhote-Alin range (1,854 meters). The dense taiga on the slopes of the mountain is closely intertwined with a mixed broadleaf forest and winding vines, and the top of the mountain strikes with the beauty of alpine meadows among the stone mound. Cloudy is famous for its rich fauna and is a habitat for rare animals and birds. The conquest of this mountain is included in the mandatory program for athletes who want to receive the badge “Seaside Bars”, symbolizing achievements in the field of sports tourism. In 2013, a two-meter iron model of a torch was installed on the mountain and the Olympic flame was lit for the 2014 Games in Sochi. In clear weather, visibility from the top of the Cloud exceeds 100 km.
