The real vernissage of flowering rhododendrons will be held in Vladivostok at the Kalina Mall TVC

April is the time for rhododendron blooms. And that's a reason for creativity. Within the framework of the "Festival of Rhododendron" will be a real vernissage.

Primorsky photographers recorded many moments of the short life of flowering shrubs and show this fragile beauty in their works. This is the first full flowering at the level of sight. They decorate the coves, slopes and hills. Flowering bushes awaken both the brain and consciousness. And although there are still a lot of gray colors around, but pink shades already give a feeling of warmth, a full-fledged arrival of spring, photographer Yuri Smityuk is sure. In their works, the photographers reflected the beauty of rhododendron – from panoramic images to large frames. In each work - an admiration of the plant itself and the nature of Primorye. They bloom from mid-April to mid-May: the pink wave slowly moves from south to north of the edge. I like to film nature. Different times of the year. And flowering rhododendrons are no exception. But it's especially shocking. When you get into the forest where Fori blooms, you get the feeling that you are in some subtropics. In fact, everything is happening in the north. And when you see the flowering rhododendron Fori – bright, beautiful, gentle, elegant, it is a complete separation from reality, it seems that you were transferred to some other universe, says photographer Olga Vasik. More than 35 photos were presented to the audience. Selected works made both in popular tourist places, and where there are no mass tourist flows. These shots do not just attract the eye, they offer Primorye and guests of the region to return to these places to feel the attractiveness of the seaside nature. 

For me, rhododendron is pointed - the decoration of our taiga and especially the coast. This is a real symbol of Primorye. But in the mountains is dominated by another species - rhododendron golden, forming difficult thickets together with stlanik and stone birch. But despite the difficulties, he donates his beauty to those who were able to overcome themselves and climb to the very top. Perhaps this is the most beautiful flower of Sikhote-Alin!, - says photographer Vitaly Berkov

Every frame is a beautiful moment. And considering these photos, you can not just make a small “journey” in Primorye, but also capture the feelings that the photographer experienced during the shooting. The photo exhibition with the works of seaside photographers will be held from April 29 to May 12 on the 3rd floor of the Kalina Mall trade and exhibition complex. The initiator and organizer of the Festival of Rhododendron is the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).
