The new Chinese air carrier began a flight program from Beijing to Vladivostok

Vladivostok International Airport solemnly welcomed the Chinese flight of China United Airlines. A direct flight on the route Vladivostok-Beijing (Dacin Airport) was launched. The Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) took part in the solemn events organized at the airport. 

China United Airlines flights to Beijing will be carried out three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The journey time will be 2 hours 40 minutes. Departure from Beijing at 13:40, arrival in Vladivostok at 18:20. Departure from Vladivostok at 19:30, arrival in Beijing at 20:10. The first flight of the Chinese air carrier on the platform was welcomed by a traditional “water arch”. The landing of the aircraft was captured on their photo and video cameras by media representatives and spotter photographers.

A solemn program was organized at the airport complex. At the exit from the zone of international airlines, a welcome banner and balls were placed, elements of Russian culture were presented: folk costumes, samovar, bread and salt. The first flight received just over 100 passengers. These were mainly organized groups of tourists, who had already formed a program of acquaintance with Vladivostok.

We see interest in Primorye and an increase in tourist flow from Chinese tourists. In the first five months, just under the Intergovernmental Agreement, the region was visited by slightly more than 46 thousand guests from China, and this is a quarter of the total tourist flow from China to Russia. And here we did not even take into account guests arriving on a visa. The launch of a new flight between Vladivostok and Beijing creates conditions not only for the formation of new tourism products, but can also significantly change the target audience choosing to travel to the east of Russia. So, residents of the capital, central and southern regions of China have become passengers of this flight. The new flight makes it possible to increase the length of stay, and here new offers appear for visiting iconic places, gastronomy, exclusive types of recreation. As a result, the costs of visitors increase, which is reflected in the revenues to the budget of the region," said Arseniy Krepsky, Head of the Primorsky Territory Tourism Agency.

Representatives of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) presented tourists from the Middle Kingdom with information materials about the city and the region in Chinese. Individual tourists at the counter of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye (Visit Primorye) had an interest in proposals for organizing excursions and visiting interesting places, as well as shopping and dining options. They asked about the schedule of the tourist information desk at the airport, whether there are the same counters in the city and where, and whether all information printing is free. The most popular booklet was a map in Chinese.

The opening of flights of the Chinese airline China United Airlines is a long-awaited and significant event for Vladivostok Airport. Currently, three Russian airlines fly to the capital of China from the air harbor of Primorye: S7 Airlines, Ural Airlines and Aurora.
