In January, Vladivostok was in the TOP-10 of the federal rating of the popularity of places for single trips. The rating was one of the hotel booking services. Moreover, the capital of Primorye became the only city of the Far Eastern Federal District, which was included in this list.

What the region attracts travelers in the winter, said the director of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) Olga Gurevich. Olga, let’s talk about the rating: what does Primorye offer solo travelers?

—It’s really cool to get into the rating. This means that travel to Primorsky Krai is available so that a person can go himself: unaccompanied, without custody, without any other actions of the professional market. This suggests that there is a good information content, and travel in Primorye is quite clear, simple and accessible to anyone. What are we proposing? If we are talking about winter, then, of course, it is Vladivostok itself, which is filled with various events, ranging from cultural, event and our wonderful Far Eastern cuisine, ending with tourist routes. This and Arsenyev in order to ride on skis, and Hasansky district. It's not much worse now than in the summer. You can also walk along the path of the leopard, look at the Gamov Peninsula: there are absolutely stunning views in winter, only with fewer people. There are unique winter climbs. That there is, in addition to sea walks, in principle, you can use those the same summer destinations.

—Yes and on the sea, too, you can walk, only on frozen.

— Yes, I just wanted to add that to walk in winter on the sea —this is a unique event for foreign guests especially. They often come precisely to walk along the frozen water.

—But only observing security measures.

– Yes, of course.

—Can or consider Vladivostok’s hit in the All-Russian rating the start for the development of all-season tourism in Primorye, which is now much talked about?  Sure. In fact, this winter showed that we can attract guests here. People are interested in coming to Primorye and Vladivostok in winter. Recently, the statistics of the airport, and, for example, on domestic flights of Aeroflot, the load was almost 90%. These are just amazing numbers, which probably do not even have one company. This suggests that a lot of people travel within the country. We are busy with hotels and airplanes. Now in winter tickets for 1-2 days you will not buy in Vladivostok. It is nice that the business class is also very busy.

— On whom does Primorye bet in the development of all-season tourism? Are they children, adults, singles, families, youth?

—B most of the time—family. We have watched quite a lot of statistics, and, in the main, these are families, or, on the surprise, this is an older generation with their grandchildren. In general, our goal is to attract more young people, develop active areas. If we talk about pensioners, then in most cases they go to rest bases. It’s still more summer, and if we talk about winter, then we are more interested in attracting young people, especially in the light of recent events. Vladivostok recently won the competition for the title of the youth capital of Russia.

How developed is the tourist infrastructure in the Krai, and / nbsp; or do you need to invest in it? / nbsp;

— The residents of Primorsky Krai know perfectly well how our infrastructure is developed: of course, we need to invest a lot, starting from the road. This is very important for the development of autotourism, because we have, firstly, the edge itself is automobile, and secondly, a lot of guests come to cars, and distances from us are not small. It seems that there is up to Khasansky district to drive, but we all know that this is a hook: you need to round the sea, the bay. But in my opinion, the infrastructure is developing in leaps and bounds, starting with the APEC Summit, when Vladivostok acquired a completely different view. Now the edge of the year in the year, from the month in the month gets more and more good infrastructure, investment proposals, starting from the development of roads, ending with all-season resorts, which we will see soon. Money is laid on tourist trails, on various event events. We are all waiting for the water park, which will soon appear. We see that the region is developing and every year becomes more comfortable for movement, for recreation and for life, of course. What role did the national project play in the development of the tourist infrastructure of Primorye? As for tourism, of course, the national project plays a very important role. Many events of the federal level are, of course, due to the national project, there was lighting, changing the city center, then there is the entire tourist code. All this is done in order to be comfortable not only for tourists, but also for our residents. This applies to and edge: gambling zone, everything that concerns roads, tourist infrastructure, event events, modular hotels, support for entrepreneurs, beaches, campgrounds. All this is a national project, which, of course, made decisive changes in development. — A If you go back to 20-30 years ago and compare with what is now, how attractive and more comfortable for travelers has Primorye become?

— I can tell my story: when 20-30 years ago we went to rest in the Hasan district, then lived in the old decommissioned railway cars without light, without water. This is an example for those who want to compare the possibilities of tourism then and now. Now we have a modern airport, which is comfortable to fly, from which it is comfortable to fly, there are recreation centers, yes, anything. What was the first road to find? A now? We recently passed and just amazed: from the airport to Safari Park, the path takes 15 minutes. There are people who fly to us in transit and spend 4-5 hours at our airport, can quite comfortably go to the Safari Park, because it is located in 15 minutes from them. Was that 20 years ago? I have lived here all my life, I was born here, until now I live, and this is all completely different: the entire geometry of the city, the geometry of the region, roads are completely different, shortened roads have appeared, of course, all this goes to the development of the Primorsky Territory, tourism, and this is, of course, a huge plus. The new master plan of the capital of Primorye outlines several major investment tourism projects, about 100 billion rubles will be spent until 2030. Given these plans and the pace of today’s development, how do you assess the future of the tourism industry? Of course, we are very much waiting for the doctrinal values, I see the number of tourists coming, but if earlier we paid a lot of attention to a foreign tourist, now we all understand that the Russian tourist brings the same money. He is clear, comfortable, he is his own, and money remains inside the country. Therefore, to reach in Primorsky Krai the indicator of 10 million tourists is wonderful, but I still want the residents of Primorsky Krai to travel inside the region. This is also very important, because the edge is large, and it will be very interesting for children. It seems to me that it is necessary to create such conditions so that, conditionally, children of the Pozharsky district could come to Vladivostok, and children from Vladivostok to Pozharsky district. U us that is not Only the capital of Primorye is, we have Dalnegorsk, Dalnaryorechensk, Luchegorsk. Mobility of movement, including within the region, is very important. I think this is one of the goals of domestic tourism development. Well, and, as I always say: it will be comfortable - everyone will come to us at the guests.
