Training of the second stream of tourist volunteers started in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, the first lesson of the tourist-volunteer project Striped Navigator was held. More than 20 people have joined this year's second stream of training. The first stream was successfully completed and certified by 17 people.
At the introductory lesson, volunteers were told about the features of the project, about the educational process and announced plans for the tourist season. We have a busy program ahead, in which we tried to accommodate many interesting invited speakers. We plan to launch walks of our volunteers in early July. And all of you who will take to the streets of Vladivostok as part of the Striped Navigator project will have a great responsibility – because thanks to you, people will learn more about the opportunities for recreation in our region, its interesting places and fall in love with Vladivostok, said Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory. All classes are held at 43 Svetlanskaya Street. Start time of training: 18:30, duration of 1 hour.

- June 4 - "Collaboration and mechanisms of interaction of tourist volunteers and tourist police (Tourist police of Vladivostok)"
- June 11 - "Current status of the Youth capital of Russia near Vladivostok (IKU "Youth Resource Center")
- June 18 - the important project experience and the project launch). Before entering the routes, volunteers take training courses to interact with tourists. The speakers of the course are experts of the tourism industry. At the moment, 22 people have enrolled in the educational course. The project is scheduled for July 2 on the birthday of Vladivostok. On this day, the first volunteers of the fifth anniversary season will go on the routes. Each of them, in addition to bright paraphernalia, will also have a set of printing to inform tourists and local residents about current recreation opportunities in the region.
The Striped Navigator is a volunteer project of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory. The project has been implemented since 2019 with the support of the Tourism Agency. Volunteers run along the central routes of Vladivostok and advise tourists on cultural, active and other types of recreation in the region.
