Olga Gurevich: Winter in Primorye is beautiful and affordable

At the International Tourism Exhibition-Forum "Intourmarket". Winter, held from 12 to 14 December in St. Petersburg, Primorsky Krai presented the winter tourist opportunities of the region. Within the framework of the session “The Far East and the Arctic 2026: inspiration and discovery of new horizons”, the director of the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) Olga Gurevich .

Today, Primorsky Krai is confidently among the three most visited regions of Russia for the reception of foreign tourists, second only to Moscow and St. Petersburg. In 2024, the region was visited by 3.8 million people, and in 2025 it is expected to overcome the mark of 4 million tourists, of which more than half a million are foreign guests.

Primorsky Krai actively develops winter tourism products, offering travelers not only a sea holiday in summer, but also a rich event and active program in the cold season.

Recreation in Primorye is traditionally associated with summer, warm sea and beaches, but we want to show that winter by the sea is also beautiful, interesting and comfortable. This year we are holding the second festival “Winter by the Sea”, within which tourists can go on excursions to Primorye at special prices, folk fishing and smelt festivals, offer winter hikes in the mountains, diving under the ice and even winter surfing, Olga Gurevich emphasized.

" We develop the infrastructure for recreation all year round - from the ski resort to event routes and gastronomic festivals. Vladivostok is becoming more and more beautiful, and we invite guests to come not only in summer, but also in winter, Olga Gurevich added.

Participation of the Primorsky Territory in the exhibition-forum "Intourmarket". Winter made it possible to present the potential of the region as a year-round destination, stressing that the region is becoming increasingly attractive for both domestic and inbound tourism.
