From gastronomy to family travel, there’s just one delicious lesson

We meet spring and prepare surprises for mothers and grandmothers - this is how the lesson of gastronomy was held at secondary school No. 74 of Vladivostok. 

The organizers of this "delicious" event were the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) and the Coffee Machine network. The atmosphere of the lesson was uplifted and creative: you could laugh, talk, ask. And the kids were happy to use it. Under the strict guidance of the Coffee Machine brand chef Ilya Stepanov, the guys prepared panini with chicken. The “three whales” of the work of this chain of coffee houses are technologically advanced (the dishes are simple, even children can cook them), safe and tasty. Of course, it is too early to talk about creating jobs. But such lessons can turn into a real hobby when children wake up interest in the art of cooking. We highlight the story that the modern chef is akin to a rock star or a screen star, that he is a creative person, bright and contact. After all, chefs are always in search, they create something new, give people new taste sensations, joy. And it was important for us to convey this to the guys. It's good that these are junior grades. They are like plasticine, receptive to information, and it is very important to present and tell it correctly, said Ilya Stepanov.

It turned out that many guys during trips with their parents around the edge often stopped near these pit stops, and one of the most favorite offers from the menu are various cookies from this chain of coffee shops. But after the gastro lesson, the list increased, the second-handers willingly added the panini created by their own hands to the list of delicious dishes. Especially many were impressed that the filling can be created at your own discretion and create at home together: panini from mom, panini from dad, panini from grandmother. The atmosphere of the lesson cannot be conveyed in words. Brilliant, shining eyes, looking at you with delight. It was nice to see the kids being enthusiastically involved in the process – having a good and fun meal and having a great time. The most important thing is that they are attentive to perception, to what they are told and shown. And for me, who has hundreds and maybe thousands of master classes in his luggage, it is very pleasant. It wasn’t just me who gave them something new. They shared with me, too. They shared their energy, their positive attitude, and this has been in me for several days now, continued Ilya Stepanov.

At the end of the lesson, the secondary students received as a gift the issues of the magazine “Wonders of Primorye” and a gastronomic guide. All vowed to share the recipe with their parents, read magazines together and come up with a family route for the weekend.
