The opening of the festival of Russian literature and calligraphy “Cyrillic” will be held in Vladivostok

On May 24 at 12:00 in the multimedia park "Russia - My History" of the city of Vladivostok, the grand opening of the annual festival of Russian literature and calligraphy named after Saints Cyril and Methodius - "Cyrillic". The festival is timed to the Day of Slavic Culture and Literature, dedicated to the day of memory of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Brothers Cyril and Methodius.

24 and 25 May, guests of the historical park will be able to visit thematic excursions dedicated to the history of ancient Russian writing in the exposition "Rurikovichi", get acquainted with the history of calligraphic writing from ancient times to the present day at the exhibition "History of Calligraphy", as well as take part in thematic master classes and interactive classes. nbsp; ;nbsp;; in 3 years of writing in paper and letters for students in the park.

Also, young visitors are invited to take part in the interactive program "Izba Krasna", artistic painting of gingerbread, the creation of traditional Slavic ornaments in the technique of stamping on fabric and Meschersk painting on wood.   

For visitors over 12 years old, there are master classes on Slavic calligraphy, poster writing and creating panels in the technique of collage, as well as lectures that will tell the history of handwritten and machine texts, semiotics of Russian ornaments. Virtual reality zones and other interactive platforms will be available for all visitors to the park. ы
