On June 5, a free gastronomic digital guide to Vladivostok from MTS Travel was launched. On its "pages" there is complete information about the features and advantages of Far Eastern cuisine.

In the creation of the online guide, experts of the restaurant industry, food bloggers, gastroenthusiasts and representatives of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye took part. In the guide you can find their advice and recommendations both in the field of gastronomy and in general on rest in the Primorsky Territory. Guide from MTS Travel tells about the key products and dishes that form the basis of Far Eastern cuisine. From the gastronomic guide, guests of the region will learn where to try raw scallop, a brace made of coucumaria or trepang, ceviche from a trumpeter, fried fern and lemongrass jam

The guide contains about 70 restaurants and cafes of Vladivostok of different price categories. Here you can find thematic selections of institutions showing Far Eastern cuisine from different sides: restaurants with seafood from the aquarium and Asian cuisine, establishments specializing in meat dishes and taiga gifts. Also in the guide there are restaurants with panoramic sea views, cozy coffee shops and places for atmospheric breakfasts, pit stops for auto travelers, gastronomic spaces and food courts, colorful cafes with exotic food “not for everyone” and selections of establishments specializing in drinks. Especially for fans of gastronomic tourism in the online guide collected thematic festivals and holidays, which will be held in Vladivostok until the end of 2024: the festival of scallop "On the crest", the crab festival "Hold the crab", the cultural and gastronomic festival "Maritime monsoon" and other events dedicated to the Far Eastern cuisine

According to MTS Travel, the number of hotel reservations in the region for the year increased by 43%. The geography of tourists is also expanding – in addition to its Far Eastern neighbors, Primorsky Krai is gaining popularity among tourists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk regions. In addition, Vladivostok can be called the center of business tourism - 50% of guests arriving here on a business trip, extend the trip for the weekend. Far Eastern cuisine is one of the hallmarks of our city, so in order to help independent travelers, we launched a digital gastronomic guide MTS in Vladivostok, said Yevgenia Sysoyeva, Director of MTS in Primorsky Krai.

Last year, the region received 3.5 million tourists, and this figure is growing. But for most tourists from the western regions of the country, the Far East is still exotic and unexplored land. The formation of a comfortable information environment, including the launch of audio guides and digital guides, is an important element in promoting the tourism potential of the region. Gastronomic tourism is one of the trends in the development of the tourism sector: often food in travel becomes the missing puzzle to understand the region, said Vitaly Stanislavchuk, Head of the Project Management and Analytics Department of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye

The cuisine of Vladivostok is a mix of Europe and Asia. Our kitchen is loved. We spent a lot of time to show our cuisine, products, technology to the country. We will continue to position it, added Egor Anisimov, the brand chef of the pan-Asian restaurant Zuma.

Development of the Far East brand is also about a local resident so that they can take advantage of what we have, supported colleagues of the Coffee Machine brand chief.

Travelers arriving in Vladivostok receive a welcome SMS with reference to a digital guide from MTS. To use the gastronomic guide MTS Travel direct link can subscribers of all operators.
