In Vladivostok on June 1 “carriage of joy”

The mobile theater-transformer “Chariot of Joy” and its performance were presented in Vladivostok. Ahead of the screenings in the open space for citizens and guests of the Far Eastern capital.

Once in Vladivostok was its street theater "Crossroads" - the brainchild of Sergei Bybalko. But it's for the older generation. Now the street theater will be a real discovery and revelation for young people. The venue for the show was chosen Admiral Square. The scene and scenery is a bright decorated bus that already stands near the arch of Tsesarevich. The acting heroes of the play “Chariot of Joy” are artists of the Primorsky Regional Puppet Theater and students of the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts.

By the way, the bus itself “refers” the older generation in their memories to the “Yellow Submarine” of the famous Liverpool Four. Looking at the actors, you can see parallels with Asiyay Vyacheslav Polunin and the actors of the St. Petersburg theater “Lycedei”, and the humorous television series “Masks Show” by Georgy Deliev. But, as the organizers of this theatrical action are sure, it is very difficult to ignore, bypass, not use those refrains that have long become famous and scattered around the world

The show invites large and small audiences to dialogue. It has no words, only facial expressions, gestures, actions and great music. Impressions are enhanced by air jellyfish and a whale, a giant seahorse and an octopus, huge bright fish. Everything is very technical, balanced and appropriate. And it's clear without words. Therefore, each viewer can “draw” something of his own: memories, sailors, travel, magic. Just a street play. And then there will be huge dolls, a foam gun and the involvement of the audience in the process. So, no one will be bored! 

The premiere screening of the "Chariot" of joy will be held on International Children's Day on June 1. Next, several more summer performances of the troupe are scheduled: June 12, July 6, 7 and 14. The beginning of each performance at 13:00, the screening is free. But the organizers advise to specify the place of all further performances in Telegram channel of the theater (note: this is in case of rain or transfer of the performance to the central square of Vladivostok).

We note that this project is implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. There are five performances ahead. And since in Russia there is no more traditional form of theatrical art than the art of puppet theater, I want the project to live on. And let this bright bus ride along the edge, giving people joy and mood.
