Almost 100 schoolchildren will take part in gastronomic master classes as part of the scallop festival “On the Crest!”

In Vladivostok for the third time held a street festival of scallop "On the Crest!" (0+). The event took place from 28 to 30 June and also on 6 July as part of the celebrations City Day - Vladivostok. Residents and guests of the city were able to try various dishes from scallop: pian-se with a scallop, shawarma with a scallop and bacon, rice balls with a scallop filling and much more!  

Seafood is a visiting card of Vladivostok, and gastronomic master classes add to their popularity. Cooks of 3 restaurants of Vladivostok will share their secrets of cooking dishes from sea delicacies on Thursday, July 11, with schoolchildren of school No. 74: chef Ivan Osipenko and so-chef Anastasia Ryzhkova from the pan-Asian restaurant "Zuma", brand chef of the restaurant of the water complex "Aquatoria" Maxim Mozharovsky and chef of the cafe-breakfast "Omlet Station" Azamat Mukhamedov. This delicious event will be held in the framework of the children's school camp. So students rest tasty, interesting and informative! The guys together with the chefs will prepare: -

  •  Caesar salad with seafood (shrimp and octopuses) 
  • Omlet with sockeye 
  • Burger with pollock patty 

"Such master classes are a great opportunity to acquaint Vladivostok schoolchildren with Far Eastern cuisine. And not only to introduce, but also to teach to cook a particular dish, – shared the Director of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) Olga Gurevich.

Within the framework of master classes for schoolchildren, an interactive lecture “Vladivostok Fortress” will also be held, because 2024 in Primorye was declared the Year of the Vladivostok Fortress. Today, the Vladivostok Fortress is an important part of the cultural and historical heritage of the country. More than a hundred of its objects are scattered on the hills and coasts of the Muravyov-Amursky peninsula and Russky Island. The purpose of the lecture is to tell about this unique monument of history and architecture.  

The event is organized by the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) and the Department for Work with Municipal Institutions of Education of the Administration of Vladivostok.
