Almost 30 restaurants of Vladivostok during the festival will surprise guests with gastronomic masterpieces of pollock

C May 18 in Vladivostok starts the gastronomic festival "O!Vega Vkus" (0+). It will last until June 2. According to the established tradition, the organizers prepare restaurant and street programs. The festival will be held for the second time. The event has already firmly established itself in the event calendar of the Primorsky Territory, which proves its uniqueness and demand by guests and residents of Vladivostok, as well as industry workers.

28 restaurants of the Far Eastern capital participate in the restaurant program "O!Mega Vkus". Their list can be found on the festival website. In each of the participating institutions, visitors will find a special menu with author's dishes from pollock. By the way, despite its youth, the festival this year has already gone beyond the region - restaurants in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kamchatka joined it.

> In the region, gastronomic festivals pay great attention. Thanks to such events, the region promotes its tourism potential, there are additional options for demonstrating the possibilities of the hospitality sector. Such gastrofestivals allow to form new tourist products, give an opportunity to guests of Vladivostok through the prism of gastronomy to get acquainted with the region, and local residents - to get to know their region better. >> The use of local products and local brands to create a regional identity is another opportunity to promote domestic and inbound tourism on Russian and foreign platforms. In March 2024, the festival “O!Mega Vkusti!”, designed to reveal the gastronomic potential of wild white fish and the tourist potential of Primorye, was presented in Moscow at the international exhibition-forum “Russia”. The opportunities of the festival, cooperation with the manufacturer and consumer found a response among visitors and participants of the International Forum of Innovative Technologies in the Food Industry and Agriculture INNOFOOD 2023. 

The organizers of the festival "O!Mega Vkus" are: Russian Fishery Company (RRPK), Gastronomy Map of Russia and Tourist Information Center of Primorye. The festival is held with the support of the Government of the Primorsky Territory.
