Primorsky Krai is becoming more and more recognizable for Russian tourists from the western regions of Russia and far abroad. Many of the visitors of the forum are already set to visit Primorye this summer and in early autumn, so they turned to the region's stand with specific questions.
The planning trip was interested in the offers of travel companies, excursions, visiting attractions (both in Vladivostok and around the region), issues of organizing recreation for families with children, car rental, etc.
The information about event events for summer and September, told about gastronomic and theatrical festivals, Tiger Day and Tiger Day. Many have already heard about our cats, so asked how to see tigers and leopards in nature. Although some asked about conflict situations with predators, about which the media periodically write, and wanted to get details about the purchase of foreign cars in Vladivostok and their transportation. The myth that all residents of Vladivostok are engaged in the transfer of cars to the West, lives to this day. Against the background of information about the construction of a resort in Hasan, they clarified: when you can come to a new resort for rest. For someone, an important topic of discussion was the weather: is it warm in Primorye, what is the water temperature, the duration of the bathing season, and if it is warm, then do we grow watermelons? So, answering the questions, conducted a certain educational program, explained Alyona Ardasheva, Project Manager of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory.
Among the visitors of the stand were tourists who have already visited Primorye and are going to return to the region for new impressions. Almost all of them got acquainted with Vladivostok, visited the south of Primorye, now their plans include a trip to the northern territories of the region. Therefore, clarified the issues of navigation, accommodation, recreation. Guests who have already visited Primorye gave a positive assessment of these trips and noted low prices for seafood (in particular, crab and smelt), as well as a large list of gastronomic offers. Young people were more interested in art spaces and art festivals than extreme tourism.
Residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg were interested in visiting China and North Korea during their holidays in Primorye. Moreover, trips to North Korea were interested more often than in China. Questions were asked about the organizing companies, the duration of tours, places of visit, obtaining a visa, the cost of trips, buying souvenirs, etc. Foreign guests actively clarified the possibilities of visiting Vladivostok, a place to admire nature, the presence or absence of language barriers, payment issues. In these four days, residents of the Irkutsk, Amur and Rostov regions, Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, the Komi Republic, Altai, Volgograd, India, etc. “looked at our stand. The questions asked at such events are always a vector for defining and setting goals, as well as developing action plans for further promotion of the region. For us, the visitors of the stand are a grateful audience. It is nice that tourists of different ages and preferences are interested in Primorye. As part of one trip, you can safely combine a walk through the streets of Vladivostok in a stylish outfit and a trip to nature in trekking boots and with a backpack. We really have something to offer guests - from family holidays to extreme, from gastronomic to cultural events, - said Olga Gurevich, Director of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).
We add that at the forum "Travel" representatives of the Primorsky Territory also took part in the plenary session, voiced proposals for enhancing the incoming tourist flow, presented opportunities for active and environmental recreation, introduced guests to the gastronomic potential of the region through the presentation of the festival.
